Office Policy

My Approach: As a licensed, caring and results-oriented therapist, my goal is to assist you in reaching your goal and being happier in your life. It is my privilege to listen, talk with you, and learn about what you want to accomplish, and together work toward your successful result.

Confidentiality: All information between the therapist and the client is confidential. This means that no information discussed during your counseling sessions is shared with anyone without your written consent. However, I am a mandated reporter by California law, meaning that I have a duty to report any of the following four exceptions: A&B: Client presents as a danger to self or as a danger to someone else. C&D: Client provides information where child or elder abuse is suspected.

Appointments: Your sessions are by appointment only and are usually scheduled for one individual session at $150.00 per session and a couple’s session at $170.00. Any additional time beyond the stated time, with your advance
approval, will be pro-rated. For your therapy to have the maximum benefit it is necessary that you attend each scheduled session.

Cancellations: Due to my holding your appointment time for you, I ask that you contact me within 24 hours before the scheduled session, or my fee for your session will be charged.

Payment: Payment is due at the end of each session unless an arrangement is made in advance with this therapist. Payment is accepted by cash, personal check, money order or bank check. Bank fees for returned checks are charged back to the client.

Insurance: Upon your request, I will provide you with a receipt for fees you incur for services which you can use to submit a claim with your insurance company based on your policy and coverage. I am an out of network provider and do not accept assignment.
